2+2 Blouse and Skirt

15 Aug

Continuing with back-to-school sewing, H. has another long sleeve 2+2 Blouse she can wear for school. This one is made from light blue cotton shirting material and trimmed with white and navy polka dot.

For the 2+2 skirt, I used the same polka dot fabric for the waistband, the button loop, and  the side placket.  I found a big red button in my collection of vintage buttons to add a wee bit more color.  I have to swing by the fabric store to pick up some snaps for the placket.
