Simple Garter Stitch Shawl

7 Dec

I made this simple garter stitch shawl for my mom for Christmas. I meant to make it for her last year, but that never happened. I used about 1 and a half balls of Karabella’s Gossamer in copper. I simply cast on 50 stitches on number 13 needles and knit away. The somewhat foggy photos (possibly from toddle finger prints on the lens) don’t really show the sparkly bits scattered throughout the shawl. They almost look like short strands of copper tinsel.  The photo from Karabella’s site captures it much better.

Only two (possibly three) more holiday projects to start and finish!
